Module Thirteen's focus is new architecture in Italy, France and the USA. From the USA is a complete documentation of the futuristic Florida Polytechnic University by Calatrava; from Italy,
the CityLifeMilano Residential Complex by Zaha Hadid, the nearby Allianz Tower by Andrea Maffei and Arata Isozaki, the green Bosco Verticale by Boeri Studio (all in Milan); and the 25 Verde (Green) by Luciano Pia in Turin. Works from France include
the amazing Pierres Vives (library) by Zaha Hadid; and the Green Cube (Euronews Headquarters) and Orange Cube (a wharf redevelopment project) by Jakob + MacFarlane in Lyon. The module showcases many Modernist works including the Lingotto Building
(auto factory built by Fiat) in Turin by Giacomo Matté-Trucco. Le Corbusier is represented by the Habitation Marseilles interiors, Chandigarh (India) Capitol Complex, and Villa Le Lac. Also included is the National Parliament House (Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban)
in Bangladesh by Louis Kahn and Florida Southern College campus by Frank Lloyd Wright –– the largest collection of buildings by FLW anywhere. We are happy to report that we were able to get interiors of the famous Villa Pisani (La Rocca) by Vicenzo Scamozzi
in Lonigo, Italy as well as complete documentations of the Teatro Olympico and Palazzo Chiericati by Palladio in Vicenza. From India this module brings the stunning Golden Temple (Sri Harmandir Sahib) in Amristar; the beautiful Neemrana Fort Palace in Alwar
district; the Peacock Gate of the City Palace, Jaipur; and a complete coverage of Pushkar Lake (Pushkar Sarovar) with the temples, bathing ghats and street scenes which comprise this important Hindu sacred site.
