Art Module D contains a complete documentation of the cutting-edge replica of prehistoric cave art at the new International Centre for Cave Art, Lascaux, France. Also from France are more works from both the Chagall and Matisse Museums in Nice, as well as works from the nearby Fondation Maeght. From Italy, we include the Legend of the True Cross frescoes by Piero della Francesca (in San Francesco, Arezzo). Florence coverage includes the newly redesigned Museo dell'Opera del Duomo, featuring the original sculptures relocated on a magnificent recreation of the original façade (destroyed 1587) as well as coverage of Santissima Annunziata, Chiostrino dei Voti frescoes. This module also completes our interior coverage of the Palazzo del Te, Mantua, by Giulio Romano, including the Sala dei Giganti. From Canada we bring you highlights from 'From Africa to the Americas: Face-to-Face Picasso, Past and Present' (2018 exhibition at Montreal Museum of Fine Arts) which explores African and other non-Western influences on his art by juxtaposing these works next to Picasso's. From the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, are works by Jean-Paul Riopelle. From Spain we are pleased to present 20th century highlights, including works of Dali and Miro, from the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid. From the USA we present selected works from the Hammer Museum and the Broad Museum, Los Angeles, including iconic American works from the 2018 Jasper Johns Exhibition, "Something Resembling Truth." To round out this module we include the San rock paintings known as the Marching Men, located in the uKhahlamba-Drakensberg Park (KwaZulu-Natal province, South Africa), and from China, the site and museum of the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor in Shaanxi.
